【From 1GW to 1kWh】—— Bringing the Experience of “Giant” Power Stations Into Your Home Applying the rigor of “large-scale power stations” to the details of “home-use products”.

 

In the deserts of the Middle East and the snowy plains of Russia, one sound is the same – the low hum of large-scale energy storage power stations in operation.

Hello everyone, I’m Mr. Lucas.

In my over two decades in the photovoltaic and energy storage industry, what I’m most proud of isn’t a title, but the hard data: during my tenure as CEO, we delivered over 1GW of centralized energy storage inverters; the liquid-cooled containers I led have been operating globally for over four years with zero major incidents.

What does 1GW mean? It’s enough to light up billions of lamps simultaneously.

Many people think engineers accustomed to “big power stations” tend to overlook “small batteries.” But I think the opposite. I wondered, what if we could shrink that “industrial-grade” precision and stability into a battery pack for the home?

In the Middle East, scorching days and cool nights create massive cooling loads; in Russian-speaking regions, bitter winters severely test battery performance.

So when designing EPOTR’s residential battery pack, I applied the thermal management logic from our large liquid-cooled containers and utilized the same BMS algorithms that met European and American standards.

This isn’t just a “scaled-down” version; it’s a “family gift” distilled from 25 years of industrial experience. It may be small, but inside it dwells the soul of a “power station.”
